Silver Air employs some of the most experienced and highly trained flight professionals in the industry.

As a company rule, all our captains have a minimum of 8,000 hours total time, of which at least 3,000 have to be in command. 500 hours must be on the Boeing 737.

Our first officers have a minimum of 1,500 hours total time.

We do not employ ab initio pilots, nor do we carry out any ab initio pilot training. Our simulator training is undertaken by Lufthansa Flight Training in Bremen, Germany, and our CRM by the Emirates Airline Aviation Academy in Dubai.

Our cabin crew come from across the Arab world (including Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan), as well as India, the Philippines, Indonesia and Denmark. The majority have previous flying experience. Basic Training is carried out by Emirates Airline in Dubai, with aircraft specific training at Etihad Airlines in Abu Dhabi.
